United Kingdom Bank of England 5 pound banknote 1951

Description

This is a hard to find banknote dated January 31, 1951 issued by the Bank of England  for Five Pounds.  The serial number of the note is T 76 076609 and the note photographed is the note you will receive.
The note is intact and the corners are all sharp.  There are two fleabites out of the right hand side of the note. It appears that the note was perhaps in an album with tape on the back of the note at some point, which has led to the glue "bleeding" through  the four corners.
The paper that these notes were printed on at that time were almost like a vellum and it is a bit crinkly and cream color. All the printing is in shades of black and grey. These were oversized notes measuring about 5 1/2 inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide and they were often folded to fit into a wallet.  There are a both horizontal and vertical folds on this note, and some surface dirt consistent with the age of the note, but overall it is in good condition. When you hold it up to the light, you can see several watermarks through the paper.
I have several of these bank notes dating from the 1930's to the 1950's, all circulated that I will be posting.
