The 2021 Suntrail 5x9 camper is a rugged off-road boondock compact trailer. It weighs less than 1200lbs, so almost anything with a hitch can tow it.
-The cabin is a 1"square tube steel frame welded to a steel subframe.
-This is not one of those cheap plywood campers that are screwed and caulked together. Take a look at a traditional wood frame camper after a few years of use, and you'll often see water leaks and damage. We design and construct our campers to handle the twisting and racking that occurs in continuous off-road use and abuse.
-The Suntrail is designed to grow with you and with evolving technology. Instead of an onboard system of batteries, switches, inverters and panels, we installed a portable Jackery power system. This allows you the flexibility to easily swap out and modify your power source. The Jackery does all the work of those complicated systems and doubles as an emergency power source anywhere. Just plug in a solar panel for extended boondocking capability.
-The Jackery is also charged as you drive your vehicle, so you can keep things ice cold (or frozen) in your ICECO VL45 Portable Refrigerator/Freezer.
-You will need to bring drinking water with you, but all your hot water needs are met with the Yakima Road Shower.
Shower or do your dishes with 7 gallons of water heated by the sun! No propane tank! No fresh water tank! No electric water pump with wiring! No plumbing!
-The high ground clearance means the Suntrail can go places other small campers can't.
