Gray Banded Obsidian Blade Carved Knife Cholla Cactus Handle Antler Don Sutton
This auction is for a unique flint knapped Gray Banded Obsidian Blade Knife.  The obsidian is from Utah.  The handle is from cholla cactus.  This beautiful handcrafted item was made by flintknapper Don Sutton and comes with his certification.  The blade measures roughly 4” with the overall length is about 8 ½”.   The blade is in great shape and has been carefully handled from my brother’s collection.  Handling these knives is intimidating to me … very sharp and very fragile.  My brother has a vast collection.  Most of his knives were made by Don Sutton.  There is a roughly 9 ¼” stand made from wood and antler.  Again, there is a COA with specifics on the items used.  My brother took good care of his items and I see no chips in the blade.  I find these very cool.  Due to the fragility of the blade, it will be shipped in a much larger box and well protected.  Please zoom in on the pictures above.  If you have any questions, please let us know.  Please see our other items and combine for a lower shipping cost.
