This is Airstream Bambi was build in the Santa Fe Springs Airstream Factory in February, 1961.
Purchased by the current owner in August 2017. A complete restoration was performed by Vintage Trailer Masters in Bend, Oregon.
This Bambi was build as an AirBnB trailer for an Australian Resort Retreat. World events prevented the transport of the finished trailer to Australia and the owners have elected to put this elegant Bambi on the market.

Exterior Condition Description: All original body panels, with some exterior patching. Polished in 2018 and recently re-polished. Light hail damage showing on front end cap area. Kangaroo Patch and Australia Continent Patch added for branding. Light hail damage visible on the front end cap area. All original as far as we know. No evidence of any panel replacement. Curb side panel shows slight deformation, likely from the "suicide" door blowing open during transport. All glass intact. Window seals in tact - mostly original seals. No evidence of leaking. Original entrance door with restored Jalousie window - excellent operating condition. Original Bargman Door Handle. Secure deadbolt added. All hatch covers in place. New large center roof vent / skylight. A Frame freshly painted. New 2" ball coupler installed during restoration. Original belly pan in place in good condition.
Interior Layout / Sleeping Areas: Original Bambi Layout - totally rebuilt with new materials. Front sofa, side pull-out couch, rear kitchen and wetbath.
Interior Condition Description: Entire original interior and floor removed. Rebuilt original Bambi interior layout with all new modern materials. Front sofa, Side Pull Out Sofa Rear street side corner wet bath with new toilet and shower hardware. Rear and curb-side corner kitchen with new fridge, sink counters and cooktop. Side pull out sofa - main sleeping area is pulled out bed dimension is 42" x 76", with extension to front sofa of 96". All new seat cushions double as bed surface when couch is extended to bed. New pull down shades on all windows. New valence over kitchen window.
Sub Floor and Floor Coverings: Solid Sub Floor. New vinyl "wood plank" style flooring.
Appliances - Whats included and operating condition?: New Gasland Chef 2 burner countertop gas cooktop. No Oven. New dometic Model 2193 Refrigerator. 3-way power - AC / DC and LP. New Propex HS2000 LP furnace with wall mount thermostat control. New Girard Model GSWH-2 On Demand Hot Water Heater.
Plumbing System and Condition including Hot Water Heater: Note: NO Gray tank NO black tank. New PEX Plumbing System. New Outside water inlet panel. New Ruvati Stainless Steel sink with new Moen pull-out faucet. New fresh water tank - size unknown but it is small :)
Bathroom Layout and Condition: Wet bath with new shower hardware, new toilet, and new teak floor insert.
Air Conditioning? : None - roof top skylight / vent. No fan.
