1795 “Am I Not A Man And A Brother" Scarce Anti-Slavery Token Depicting a Slave in chains on the obverse. Farthing
Reverse: Advocates for the Rights of Man and the names of Thomas Spence, Sir Thomas More and Thomas Paine. The most outspoken of the individuals in the late 1700’s for human rights around the world and calling for the abolition of Slavery.
This Provincial Political Token is offered it is very scarce in any condition and is a Middlesex Token attributed to Thomas Spence.
